We have secured 2 new mentors, who will now work alongside the team at Merseyside Special Investment Fund.
As a part of the Start Up Loans scheme, we offer Start Up Loan applicants the opportunity to work with a business mentor, to provide free guidance and advice for their developing business.
Our two new business mentors are Ian Spink and Peter Whibley. Both of these professionals have strong business backgrounds and have been chosen for their ability to consult with new business start-ups and help with any difficulties they may face in their initial stages.
Ian Spink currently works as a personal & business performance coach. He has been a resourceful leader over the past 37 years, working across a wide range of business related roles within the financial service industry. Ian is very people-orientated and has exceptional skills in pro-active goal setting; something that is essential for all our start up business owners to plan.Peter Whibley currently runs his own Business Advice company, and has done since 2008. Peter is a strong business consultant with a working knowledge of Public Sector support programmes. He has excellent communication skills and also expertise in the preparation of operational plans and forecasts. His 30 years’ experience in construction also allows him to offer specialist advice within that sector.
Both of these mentors are excited to put something back into our community and support new businesses within the North-West region.
