Science Sector Networking Event in Association with 2Bio

MSIF hosted a networking event in conjunction with 2Bio aimed at bringing together directors of businesses operating in the life science sector. The event was held at Liverpool’s Radisson SAS Hotel and was attended by around 30 delegates.

Special guest speaker was Dr Kevin Cox, former president of one of the UK’s leading biotech companies, Avecia Biologics, and a renowned figure in the UK’s life science industry.

Dr Cox is Chairman of the Biotech and Pharmaceutical Sector Advisory Group for UKTI and is also an executive member of the UK Life Sciences Strategy Implementation Board. He delivered an informative presentation on the UK’s life science marketing strategy and how the North West is contributing to the UK’s reputation as a global leader in this industry.
