of i-buy purchasing professionals.
Once you have paid your fee, you will be provided with a special hotline
number which you can ring at any time to access top quality advice
on all aspects of your buying. Businesses with a turnover of over
£1million usually require a purchasing health check first. This
is an in-depth but rapid process which evaluates what you are currently
spending and on what terms. The team will then come back to you with
a proposal outlining the areas where you can make savings. The i-buy
concept is not just about focusing on price; selection of suppliers
is based on analysis of terms and conditions, service, and quality
as well.
You are under no obligation to enter into a contract with any of the
suppliers referred to you. It may be that in some instances you are
prepared to accept paying a higher price with an existing supplier,
if they are a source of referrals, for example. The i-buy team will
source you potential savings but it's entirely up to you whether you
choose to take them up.
