Darren Gowling
Darren heads up the £27m Liverpool Seed Fund. His role includes overseeing all the Fund's investments and working closely with Liverpool Ventures.
Darren has vast experience working in venture capital. He worked at Manchester-based regional venture capital specialist Innvotec for four years where he worked on equity investments in a range of sectors. Darren then moved to Cardiff and joined Wales Innovation Fund, a technology-focused early stage fund, where he spent three years before joining MSIF in 2002.
Darren is married with two daughters and has many interests including tennis, and football. He is also a big Depeche Mode fan.
Little known fact: Darren was the Liverpool Chess Congress Champion (under age 11 group) in 1979.
