The proprietor Graham Gerrard is a Chartered Management Accountant and has gained a wealth of experience having spent 7 years working for the Inland Revenue, and several years working for various companies including Matalan and GUS and more recently being General Manager of a Manufacturing company within the entertainment industry.

The company incorporated in 2004 was set up with the small to medium business in mind.

Graham Gerrard says:

"I set the company up with the aim of providing a cost effective alternative to having a full time accountant. Small to medium companies can call upon the resource at any time and also employ the resource on a part-time basis for 1 day a week/month etc. without being charged the excessive fees of the larger accountancy practices.

Also with the increase in the turnover limits (Turnover > £5.6M) for companies requiring their accounts to be audited, significantly more businesses no-longer require a set of audited accounts and therefore should not have to pay the fees charged by these accounting/auditing firms.

I can offer a service that incorporates being involved in the day to day business decisions right through to preparing accounts for submission to the Inland Revenue and Companies House for an hourly rate than is less than most plumbers charge."
