Phil Wolstenholme
Phil is one of MSIF’s longest serving staff having been with the Fund since it was set up in 1996.
Educated at Quarry Bank Grammar School, Phil then joined Martins Bank (which later became Barclays) where he worked for 34 years in various senior roles.
Phil is married with two grown up children and one grandchild. He is an avid Red and has a season ticket at Anfield.
Little known fact: Whilst working at the Water Street branch of Martins Bank, Phil and Malcolm spent many a lunch hour holed up in the bank’s ‘sunshine room’ playing cards. The sunshine room was in fact a subterranean office under the bank building!
