MSIF Appoints A New Investment Manager To Its Venture Fund

Merseyside Special Investment Fund (MSIF) has appointed a new Investment Manager to its £40m Venture Fund.
Tim Scott (29) joins MSIF from Baker Tilly where he worked as an Assistant Manager in the Corporate Finance Department in both transaction and lead advisory services, acting on a variety of MBO’s acquisitions and disposals throughout the North West.
Tim’s arrival strengthens the existing team that consists of Investment Directors Mark Borzomato and Matt Allen and Investment Manager Jon Wormald.
Mark Fuller, Managing Director of MSIF’s fund manager said: “The Venture Fund is extremely busy and has lots of potential work in the pipeline. We are delighted to welcome Tim to the Fund - he has a wide range of experience in this sector and we are sure he will be a great asset to the team.”
Tim lives in Chester and is a season ticket holder at Everton. Other interests include golf and cooking.
MSIF’s Venture Fund provides equity investments of up to £3million and supports businesses based in, or prepared to locate a substantial proportion of their company to Merseyside.
