Paul oversees loans of all sizes through both of MSIF’s currently investing funds.
He is an experienced business lender having worked at MSIF for 10 years prior to which he spent 27 years at NatWest Bank as a Senior Business Manager and in Credit Control roles.
Simon joins MSIF as an investment director to oversee MSIF’s larger loans and equity investments having previously worked on MSIF’s Venture Fund which closed for investment in 2008.
Simon has a wealth of corporate finance, fundraising and venture capital experience, having bought, run and sold a number of businesses, both as an owner manager himself, and on behalf of clients, including a number of regional institutional funds.
Marion is responsible for MSIF’s relationships with businesses where we have an existing equity investment, and also works on new investment opportunities.
She is an experienced investor who previously worked for 3i, leading on numerous equity deals, and working with boards to grow the value of their companies.
Jim Moore joins as an investment manager from Nat West in Liverpool. He will work with MSIF investment director Paul Humphray on larger loans and mezzanine investments.
Jim worked in banking for 33 years having joined Williams & Glyn in 1983 which became RBS in 1985.
Laura joins MSIF as Financial Controller having spent 18 years in the finance team at LJMU.
She provides a full range of support to the COO including providing management and financial accounts, developing budgetary models and helping to develop the commercial strategy of the company.
Steve is MSIF's Post Investment Support Manager, providing post investment support to all current and new MSIF clients.
He spends a lot of his time visiting clients, helping them with any issues they may have, and monitoring their progress.
Emma’s provides a variety of support to the investment team helping to manage the investment process including covers writing the offer letters, and, most importantly drawing down the money!
She also supports the accounts team by helping with the payroll, preparation of reports, invoice payment and assistance with preparing accounts.
