Jerry Mobbs
Jerry joined MSIF when its original £25m funds were launched in 1996.
Prior to joining MSIF he spent three years with 3i in Sheffield before becoming a director of Yorkshire Venture Capital Limited. Previously he had seven years industrial experience, spent with Unilever and then a privately owned logistics company. He also has an MBA from the London Business School.
Little known fact: Jerry is a member of the St Moritz Tobogganing Club in Switzerland where he rides the world famous Cresta Run, a man-made ice run.
The participants lie on their fronts on a 90lb metal toboggan to ride down the three quarter mile course, reaching speeds of over 60 mph!
